Simone & Son 2009 Gala Event Benefits Colette’s Children’s Home
Simone and Son, Orange County’s premier fine jeweler, specializing in custom engagement rings, raised $5000 in donations which could generate up to $20,000 though Colette’s Children’s home’s matching grant program at its 2009 Gala Event benefitting the homeless. The event was held last month at Simone & Son Jewelers in Huntington Beach and featured silent auctions and drawings for luxury items, including a vintage-style platinum and diamond ring donated by Simone & Son.
“The common misperception is that there are no homeless women and children in Orange County, and with our event behind us, we are working toward making that myth a reality,” said Shant Dakessian, co-owner, Simone & Son. “I’m extremely proud of our entire team, for their tireless efforts in creating a successful event. We also wish to thank all of our generous sponsors and donors, without whom this event would not have been possible. We are honored that our contribution will help women and children who are displaced from their homes.”
More than 250 guests attended Simone & Son’s Gala. The evening’s entertainment included a showcasing of the latest luxury automotive designs from Newport Auto Centers Porsche, Bentley & Audi. Guests enjoyed fine wine & Hors d’oeurves provided by Old Vine Café. Ladies were pampered by Dr. Naira’s skin care specialists as make up experts from Emani minerals gave complimentary mini makeovers with their latest organic mineral make up products. The gentlemen enjoyed cigars and special offers from Newport Auto Center while the ladies built their wish lists.
Entertainment and silent auction items were provided generously by Emani Minerals, Felt Bicycles, Kaenon Polarized, Jan Garcia Photography, Rod Allen, Old Vine Café, Newport Auto Center and Zeb Beatty Personal Training and others.
